Is there any way to add hosts to submaps rather than just interfaces ? To add a host to a submap i currently have to work my way through and entire list of interfaces and add each indivudual interface. This seems a rather long winded way of doing things. Its not like your going to have different intefaces for a single devices at multiple locations (submap)
What makes it even more difficult is that the inteface selection list in SubMaps/Interfaces Administration uses the format [customer shortname] [description] which makes it almost impossible to find anything. If there's no option to add hosts to submaps, how about using the format [device name] [customer short name] in SubMaps/Interfaces Administration ? Also in the map view is there any reason why we can't filter hosts based on zones along with customer and maps ? Are zones also tied to maps in any way shape or form ? it seems like they should be but i can't find any way of linking. regards Find local movie times and trailers on Yahoo!
