I can use the following, in order of preference from top.

- Checkpoint FW Rules/Interfaces: Packets/Bytes, Accepted/Dropped/Log

- Nokia IPSO: CPU Usage, number of processes.

- DNS Monitoring: using PEAR/DNS.php, will report the status of a zone and more.

- Cisco PIX: Number of connections.

- Cisco VPN3030: CPU Usage Active tunnels (Phase 1 and 2), Sessions.

- Cisco NAT: Active binds and In/Out TCP/UDP/ICMP/Other traffic.

Hi People,

I'm preparing for 0.8.2, the first pre release (0.8.2-pre1) is already in the
development section.

I wanted to ask you which of this interface types do you want. Here's the name
and a small descriptions of what they can do.

- Bluecoat ProxySG: CPU Usage, Client/Server HTTP in/out Traffic/Requests.

- Checkpoint FW Rules/Interfaces: Packets/Bytes, Accepted/Dropped/Log

- Cisco NAT: Active binds and In/Out TCP/UDP/ICMP/Other traffic.

- DNS Monitoring: using PEAR/DNS.php, will report the status of a zone and more.

- MS Exchange 5.5: needs SNMP4PC, Messages per second, queues, length, etc.

- Nokia IPSO: CPU Usage, number of processes.

- Ping/Trace Tools: ping or a trace to any interface with an ip address.

- Cisco PIX: Number of connections.

- Sendmail Switch (commercial): Individual and Total Queue Size.

- SNI: Temperature

- Mail Monitoring MIB (RFC 2249): Bytes/Messages received/transmitted. I don't
know which MTA implements this.

- Cisco VPN3030: CPU Usage Active tunnels (Phase 1 and 2), Sessions.

- Worus: Uses Cisco IP Accounting to search for infected boxes.

All this interface types were contributed by users, and some require testing and modification to be better.

I will probably need some kind of access to this devices. Hopefully, if a lot of
people need them, they will be able to provide it.

Thanks,
Javier
