We don't have a way to do that currently.
But you could write a poller that does that.
Queries the syslog table for a regexp and return the number of matches.

Explanation:
A web server is located behind my Netscreen firewall.
I can setup logging for http connections to my webserver on the netscreen so that it logs every connection attempt as a syslog message to the jffnms monitoring server.
Now I need a poller that checks the syslog messages in the MySQL database to make a graph that shows the connection attempts to my webserver. I don't care about separating per virtual host, or details about the pages being visited.
Or is there a tool that can be used on the webserver to provide connection data to jffnms?
The webserver is IIS running on Windows Server 2003.
