Mine PHP version is 4.3.9 and according to php web
site  proc_open is supported with 4.3.9 but pcntl
funtions are not enabled by default, you need to
enable pcntl funtions using --enable-pcntl option
while installtion.
I am going to try this while upgrading with php5 when
I get some down time.
Also I notices that when I tried to test proc_open
funtion it complained that it accepts only 3
parameters but example given on website shows 5
parameters, i think 5 parameter proc_open funtion is
supported in php5. I am gonna try that too.
