Javier,

With Abel Aberra's assistance we have gotten my FreeBSD ystem very close to
be able to run JFFNMS on FreeBSD 5.3. However, there are three questions I
have and I hope that maybe you can shed some light.

1. When I tried to start index.php two text boxes appeared and your
hyper-linked text appeared. The two text boxes appear just past the left
margin so I am unable to see about a third of the boxes. It appears to be a
rendering problem of some kind which could be related to the other two items
below.

2. When the php file (admin/adm/test.php) is run it produces a nice report.
However, how does one know what is missing? For instance, I have a section
titled Additional Modules with a grouping called Module Name and nothing
appears. The next section is Environment so I am wondering if I am missing
something.

3. Is there a "Pear" application that needs to be loaded? My standard
installation does not list a "Pear" app anywhere and none of the modules
loaded apparently needed it so it wasn't a part of any dependency.
According to the PHP install instruction from the JFFNMS guide it mentions
the following:

    ---------------------------------------------------
    Change This in your php.ini file.

    register_globals = On
    register_argc_argv = On
    error_reporting  =  E_ALL & ~E_NOTICE
    allow_url_fopen = On
    include_path = .:/usr/share/pear            <<<=====  Is this important?
    short_open_tag = On

    ---------------------------------------------------

Thanks for you time!

Buddy
