I have some good news! The interfaces that were reporting down in JFFNMS
are reporting down
because of some issue with the NET-SNMP on the remote boxes. Even though I
couldn't get it to
report down before I was able to after polling it every second. The output
below shows the
interfaces down when I manually poll them.... So JFFNMS is right in reporting
them down!
Now I have to try and figure out why this is happenning with NET-SNMP and
only for "eri0"
interfaces on Solaris boxes. They are all 5.8 with Net-SNMP 5.1.
If anyone else has seen this before please let me know! If I find a
solution I will post it
to the group
