I guess I've posted a variant of this before, but I'm really searching for a solution:
On 3 of the machines that I monitor with jffnms, I get Real Memory Storage Used alerts. I used Novanet NovaStor to back up these three machines. At the time that the backups are done, there is a memory spike on the three machines; the backup begins at 2:00 AM. It's at that point the the jffnms alerts begin. Fine, it's the way the program should work. The problem is that the alerts continue, and the graphs show high RAM utilization from then on until I reboot the servers. Top reveals no such highg me usage. Then when the next backup occurs, back come the alerts and the graphs showing high utilization. Does anyone have any idea why this is occurring? I'd really appreciate your help in correcting this. Dimitri PS - I'm probably pushing my luck here, but let me ask anyway - there are no reports (graphs yes, data no) for the network cards on any of the 8 servers I monitor. Any ideas about that? ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by Yahoo. Introducing Yahoo! Search Developer Network - Create apps using Yahoo!
