I have jffnms set up and I can get in to the main web pages to do the
setup and things like that. It looks to me like PHP and MYSQL are
working ok because I can go through all of the jffnms web pages with no
problems.
But, it does not seem like the cron jobs are running because none of my
devices or interfaces have been discovered or polled. As a test, I went
to the main autodiscovery cron job and ran it from a command line being
logged in as root. The command I ran was:
cd /opt/jffnms/engine && /usr/bin/php -q autodiscovery_interfaces.php
master 5
When running that command, I get the following error:
PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library
'/usr/lib/php/extensions/mysql.so' - /usr/lib/php/extensions/mysql.so:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in Unknown on
line 0
I am not sure what the exact issue is because it looks to me like Mysql
and PHP are working fine because I can navigate through the jffnms web
pages and I have added / updated information in there too. mysql.so is
NOT in the /usr/lib/php/extensions folder. I found it in another folder
and copied it to the extensions folder, but that just gave me a
different error, so I removed it.
Can anyone point me in the right direction on this?
Thanks again to everyone for the help.
