Pedro,
I monitor 12 catalyst 6500's, these have between them 690 interfaces,
which generates 4829 interfaces, which in turn use 3.8GB of disk space.
This is due to having multiple rrd files for each interface, and also
due to the granularity stored in the rrd, each rrd saves a 5 minute
sample for the last month.
Cheers
Martin

Hello,
Is it normal for JFFNMS to use so much hard disk space?
I'm monitoring about 70 hosts, about half of them Catalyst switches, and
the other half are Linux boxes, and my "rrd" directory, after I cleaned
all the .rrd files and waited for them to be generated again, has 6733
files, totalling 5.3 GB!
I searched the mailing list and the docs for any information about this,
but found none. I think that this kind of disk usage is absurd, so I
guess I have some problem. I'm using JFFNMS 0.8.2, on a Linux machine,
with PHP 4.4.0.
Thanks for any help,
Pedro
