My phpinfo displays no values for those either. (acutally, jff is not running on this specific host, bu it is a freebsd 5.4 host).
php4-extensions will get you the php4 package as a dependancy. looking at my pkg_info, it doesnt actually list mod_php4, I beleive that may conflict in some way.
