Yes, this was one of my main concerns while running this on Xbox-linux (Xebian). While it worked very well, I could only monitor about 40 routers with a 10 min polling interval before it started to get maxed out. This is also due to the 64MB of RAM it had.
If this isn't a production application that many users depend on, don't be afraid to adjust the polling interval. Also, adjust the Cisco devices to send traps (or syslog) for something like "errors" on up.
