I think there’s a couple of components –

 

If you’re trying to stop all the polling, that’s controlled by the crontab.  Do a “crontab –e –u jffnms” and delete (or comment out) any rows and that will stop the polling.

 

If you want to make the website unavailable, (which would then just be static data) the easiest way would be to move (or remove) those directories to somewhere else.
