Hi,
Iam using jffnms 8.2 on Debian sid. It is working fine; except the
creation of the graphs.
The poller is running by a cron job and the files in the rrd directory
are updated every time, but with the value NaN.
example. This happens for all interfaces.
<!-- 2006-01-16 01:15:00 CET / 1137370500 --> <row><v> NaN </v></row>
But if I run php poller.php it will be filled. The same interface:
<!-- 2006-01-15 22:15:00 CET / 1137359700 --> <row><v> 2.0442630000e+06
</v></row>
I was running the cron job under www-data and root. Both had the
permissions to do it. But no change.
And i can generate it for both users in the command line.
Iam using rrdtool 1.2.11-0.5
In the poller log I find for both methods (cron and command line) the
no_poller entries. They are the same:
cronjob:
23:46:26 : H 4 : I 202 : P 60 : no_poller(): 0 -> rrd(*):
storage_block_size:2048 - storage_block_count:230808 -
storage_used_blocks:230808 (time P:0.21 | 68.94)
command line:
20:49:38 : H 4 : I 202 : P 60 : no_poller(): 0 -> rrd(*):
storage_block_size:2048 - storage_block_count:230808 -
storage_used_blocks:230808 (time P:0.16 | 41.43)
after many hours I dont know how to go on with this.
I tried to execute from the cronjob to execute a shell script which
invoked the poller, setting up the same environment variables like the
user had. No success.
I tried additionaly to set TERM=vt100, but nothing.
Thanks
Holger
