All, Just thought I'd point out a glitch I experienced when I migrated my server. I built the new box by installing all the apps according to the instructions. I then exported/imported the MySQL database, then copied all the jffnms folder and the php folder. I went ahead and copied the php.ini file too. I recreated the scheduled jobs and everything seemed to be running fine except I lost all the updates to my graphs. The PNG files seem to exist but they were all zero bytes, so there were no graphs past the time when the old server was shutdown.
Anyhow, cutting to the chase...what I had to do was remove the path "c:\jffnms\engine\windows\xxx.bat" and replace it with "c:\jffnms\engine\xxx.bat" for the executable and working directory on each scheduled job. I do not really know why this worked but figured the mailing list and archives should have it mentioned in them. Also, there's a crapload (technical term) of PNG files in the htdocs\images\temp directory! Should these be purged/consolidated periodically? Cheers, Ed PS...the PDF version of the user guide is corrupted on the website right now, at least according to acrobat 7.07 it is. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by xPML, a groundbreaking scripting language that extends applications into web and mobile media.
