Hello All,
Javier -- Thank you for providing this forum to post messages, it has been
very helpful. I have read all posted messages regarding how to properly
setup a trigger for sending email when cpu utilization reaches a given
percentage, however I am still not able to receive emails. I created a new
event (HIGH CPU) and checked the box for "Event Generates an Alarm". I
then created an SLA Condition Group (linking it to HIGH CPU event), and
added the "cpu > 60%" as an SLA Condition Relation. Finally, I created a
new trigger that I linked with HIGH CPU event. My trigger type is set to
"Match Alarms". My trigger rules begin with 4 hosts (using the "or"
condition), followed by "Interface Type is equal to Cisco Systems Info",
and the last rule is "If Type is in HIGH CPU then send mail". I did verify
that I can receive emails by adding my username to the default "Interface
Status Change" trigger -- and this worked (I received lots of emails).
Perhaps I have not setup the trigger properly? Any help is greatly
appreciated!
Thanks Much,
Charles Rever
