Hello,
I have an Extreme
Networks switch that has two IP addresses for management - one that it embeds in
Syslog and SNMP traps sent to JFFNMS, and one that is used to query SNMP and
RMON values.
In searching the
mailing list, I came across what looks like to be "aliasing" functionality in
this statement:
"If thats not the Host primary IP, you should use the logging source-interface command to handle the source IP correctly, so it will match the IP in JFFNMS."
Is there still such a command (this post was in 2004) and where does one configure a primary and secondary IP's in JFFNMS?
