I was reading in the documentation that JFFNMS has some ability to work with the Cisco SAA stuff.

How does JFFNMS participate? Is it just a monitor of SAA activity or can it be a responder as well?

What I though about doing at my site is set up the SAA between the central core/switch router and maybe an edge switch (if it supports it) and keep an eye out for jitter issues, dhcp issues and the like.  You know, do something proactive instead of reactive.

I am currently running jffnms 0.8.2 on Fedora 3 redhat linux, using mysql database engine.

Thanks
