Re: SNMP ping Problems with CISCO MPLS Network (Carlos Mario)

We have a trouble ticket request with them, but they tell us that is a IOS bug 
and the only way to fix that memory consumption is reloading the MPLS routers 
and changing the CISCO IOS. They send us a workaround but the solution is 
deactivate the CISCO SNMP MIB

Is your setup.php showing that everything is correct (green) ?

Check the permissions on the jffnms folder.

It does seem like JFFNMS its not able to call RRDTool at all or RRDTool
returning an error like Permission Denied.

Carlos,

You should also report that to Cisco TAC, they should fix that bug for you.

A couple of years ago I saw a 7200 traceback related to PING-MIB not releasing
memory and they fixed it.
