Hello all. I am in the process of setting up JFFNMS on
Fedora Core 5. I am a bit of a Linux newbie although I can find my way around
the system. I decided to go for Linux instead of Windows as I need the
reachability interface. I have JFFNMS setup and am able to get to the interface
remotely. I have setup two hosts on the system and have left them to gather
data for six hours now. The hosts are showing green but I am getting the
following error on performance graphs, ‘The RRDTool files for Interface
ID 6 (from Host ID 3), has not been created by the Poller Process yet ‘. I
have had a look through the archives and followed advice given there but have
not found a fix. The rrd files are being created and updated in /opt/jffnms/rrd/
as per the poller schedule. I have tried versions 1.0.49, 1.0.50 and 1.2.15 of
RRDTool, making sure to delete the rrd files each time I tried a different
version. I have noticed that the /opt/jffnms/htdocs/images/temp folder contains
many 0 byte PNG files that seem to relate to the interfaces that have been
created. The temp folder is owned by apache and currently has rw access for all
users. I am sure that I have a permissions problem but I have run
out of ideas. I only need to get over this hurdle and I then have a fully
