Hi all,

I have two questions, de first related with the events DB. I would like to
know if just truncating the event database i can empty the historical events
or if doing this may break something else.

The second is related with Alarmed Interfaces. I defined to SLAs, one for
Cisco Pix, and the other for HDD Usage in Nokia Firewalls.
When the levels configured in the Pix SLA for CPU or Memory are reached I
get an event on the event viewer, and in the hosts view, the box that
references the firewall turns yellow.
On the other hand, when the levels configured in the Nokia SLA are reached
(hdd usage > 40% per ex), I only get the event on the event viewer, but the
box on the host view remains green.

As the operators use the Alarmed Interface Screen, I need the status of the
"box" changed for each event that requires an action.

The configurations are quite similar to the ones provided by default for
monitoring Cisco Routers and Linux Servers.
For the HDD SLA i'm configuring a threshold value, but for PIX memory, I
configured the alarm value directly in the SLA condition.

Where are the Interface changes and colors configured? They always have to
change to the same color used in the events view?

I'm using the stable Debian version (0.8.1-2)

Regards,
 Martin Fuentes.
