Hello,
Update on this.
I changed the Alteon Interface type > current sessions to 25000, this did not
automatically fix the issues, as Craig suggested I needed to run the rrdtune on
the rrd file to change the MAX value as well.
For info this command was: rrdtool tune interface-5542-1.rrd --maximum
data:30000
(Run from the directory where the rrd files exist, pointing it at the rrd file
I wanted to modify)
Then I ran:
rrdtool tune interface-5542-1.rrd DS[data] typ: GAUGE hbt: 600 min:
0.0000 max: 30000.0000
To confirm the MAX value had changed.
My graph peaked at 22844 concurrent connections today which was night to see.
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Mat.

numbers, though 20k seemed so reasonableat the time... sighI'm happy to see
you've found it useful, it was something I wrote 2load balancers and 1 job

for next roll-out of JFFNMS can you nock this limit up for me?Perhaps Mat can
give us an idea what sort of maximums he's getting. Also, do you have to run
rrdtune over this now, I'm not so sure. - Craig-- Craig Small GnuPG:1C1B
