Hi Gurus,
i have installed jffnms 0.8.3 and have been able to get most features
working
Had a few doubts regarding the availability reporting
The calculations dont seem correct at all
Here is a sample
Start Stop Duration Type 2007-05-01 17:11:10 2007-05-01 17:15:18 00:34:08
hs Reachability X 2007-05-01 17:55:16 2007-05-01 18:05:18 00:40:02 hs
Reachability
X Unavailable Time: 00:44:10 hs Availability:
99.481 %
I fail to understand how can a downtime from 17:11:10 to 17:15:18 be of
00:34:08 hours
Ditto for the second line too.
Another observation was that jffnms reported 30 mins unavailabilty , no
matter if the device was down or not
Unavailable Time: 00:30:00 hs Availability: 100 %
i hope i havent goofed up in my understanding
