Seeing how I guess I am on my own trying to figure out how to add support for other devices, I figure the least that I could expect is answers to a few questions along the way.
I am writing a Discovery Script for a Foundry ServerIronXL Load Balancer. Using the cisco_envmib as a template, I have narrowed down what I believe are the correct OID's for what I want to see output for. However, the problem I keep running into is that each of the new discovery plugins that I have created and been playing with --- Also show up in any of the Manual Discovery runs against all of my Hosts. Specifically, when I run a Manual Discovery w/o Port Scan on a Cisco Catalyst 3560, I should not be seeing information from my Foundry Env discovery script should I? I am on the Interface Types page where I created the Foundry Environment type with fdry_envmib as a Discovery agent and I just do not see where any of the cisco related interface types have any link to my newly created Interface types.
