Turn on logging to see if it is polling ok.  I would have two
suggestions.

Make a poller specific for this device, the first argument to the
poller.php file is the hostID.  Running in this mode is one-shot and you
may need to symlink poller.php to get around its "i am already running"
checks.

The second suggestion is to examine the RRD file and perhaps adjust some
of the parameters, such as the step, so it doesn't ignore the data.
