Hi. I'm having an odd problem with my site. On all of the Linux systems
I'm monitoring the CPU usage totals on the performance chart does not add
up to 100 percent. For some, the difference is minor (< 0.02 percent),
which could easily be rounding error. However, on other systems the total
can be off by 5-10% or more.

I'm not sure how to debug this, as I don't fully understand how the info
is translated from what SNMP gives into what JFFNMS displays. My guess is
that on some systems the wait time (time spent waiting for an event to
complete) is not being reported as part of the system time. This comes
from my observation that systems which seem to be under-reporting CPU time
also seem to be more I/O bound.

Here's some details about my setup:

JFFNMS 0.8.2 running on a FC3 32-bit system (divot)
Host1 (divot); FC3 32-bit system; 4 processors; NET-SNMP version 5.1.2;
last CPU usage totals = 99.89%
Host1 (spike): RHEL3 32-bit system, 4 processors; NET-SNMP version 5.0.9;
last CPU usage totals = 88.53%
Host3 (eagle): RHEL3 32-bit system, 8 processors; NET-SNMP version 5.0.9;
last CPU usage totals = 99.97%
Host2 (jockey): RHEL3 64-bit system, 4 processors; NET-SNMP version 5.0.9;
last CPU usage totals = 90.82%
Host4 (spiral): RHEL3 32-bit system; 4 processors; NET-SNMP version 5.0.9;
last CPU usage totals = 90%
Host5 (munchy): RHEL4 64-bit system; 4 processors; NET-SNMP version 5.1.2;
last CPU usage totals = 99.94% (but have been <70%)

Perhaps someone could point me in the right direction on where to start?
