It is certainly better if you read the documentation first then ask
questions afterward.  It means it cuts down on answering the same
questions.  Also your questions will become more specific and useful
because you will be able to tell us what you tried first.  I have seen
the differences in some peoples emails, you see them send the output
from the command line for a dodgy poller, for example.

Finally, if you get stuck and it looks like something that some other
people might also find useful I can update the documents so the next
time, they can read the documentation.
