Hi; I am still getting the subject error when polling network interfaces. The only graphs that are not created are the traffic graphs for the interfaces. If I select all graphs I can see all of the other network graphs so the polling and graphing is working except for this one.
I just updated to 0.8.4 to try to fix this issue, but it was no help. I am running 0.8.4 on Ubuntu 9.10, but I used the current stable release from the sf site. I did check the lists and applied the COMMENT patch as indicated, then deleted/recreated the host and interfaces from scratch to no avail. I ran with logging on and the results are below. <pre> 00:05:07 : H 9 : I 97 : P 10 : verify_interface_number(): 3 -> verify_interface_number(): interfacenumber not changed (time P:1.83 | 0.92) 00:05:07 : H 9 : I 97 : P 15 : cisco_snmp_ping_start:cisco_snmp_ping_start(): -1 -> buffer(): 12 (time P:0.85 | 0.08) 00:05:07 : H 9 : I 97 : P 16 : interface_oper_status(8): up -> alarm(3,,180): Nothing was done (time P:2.69 | 1.24) 00:05:07 : H 9 : I 97 : P 17 : interface_admin_status(7): up -> db(show_rootmap,down=2|up=1,0): 0 (time P:2.18 | 0.34) 00:05:07 : H 9 : I 97 : P 20 : snmp_counter:input(.1.3..6.3): 856787 -> buffer(): 24 (time P:1.37 | 0.07) 00:05:07 : H 9 : I 97 : P 25 : snmp_counter:inpackets(.1.3..7.3): 6280 -> buffer(): 27 (time P:1.44 | 0.07) 00:05:07 : H 9 : I 97 : P 30 : snmp_counter:output(.1.3..0.3): 975824 -> buffer(): 39 (time P:1.46 | 0.08) 00:05:07 : H 9 : I 97 : P 35 : snmp_counter:outpackets(.1.3..1.3): 7707 -> buffer(): 42 (time P:1.5 | 0.09) 00:05:07 : H 9 : I 97 : P 40 : snmp_counter:outputerrors(.1.3..0.3): 0 -> buffer(): 45 (time P:1.34 | 0.08) 00:05:07 : H 9 : I 97 : P 45 : snmp_counter:inputerrors(.1.3..4.3): 0 -> buffer(): 48 (time P:1.16 | 0.08) 00:05:07 : H 9 : I 97 : P 46 : snmp_counter:drops(.1.3..9.3): 0 -> buffer(): 51 (time P:1.17 | 0.08) 00:05:07 : H 9 : I 97 : P 47 : db:bandwidthin(band..tes): 12500000 -> buffer(): 53 (time P:0.23 | 0.07) 00:05:07 : H 9 : I 97 : P 48 : db:bandwidthout(band..tes): 12500000 -> buffer(): 55 (time P:0.03 | 0.07) 00:05:07 : H 9 : I 97 : P 50 : cisco_snmp_ping_wait(): -1 -> no_backend(): 0 (time P:0.37 | 0.12) 00:05:07 : H 9 : I 97 : P 55 : cisco_snmp_ping_get_pl:packetloss(): 0 -> buffer(): 58 (time P:0.27 | 0.07) 00:05:07 : H 9 : I 97 : P 60 : cisco_snmp_ping_get_rtt:rtt(): 0 -> buffer(): 61 (time P:0.34 | 0.1) 00:05:07 : H 9 : I 97 : P 65 : cisco_snmp_ping_end(): -1 -> no_backend(): 0 (time P:0.24 | 0.03) 00:05:07 : H 9 : I 97 : P 80 : no_poller(): 0 -> rrd(*): input:856787 - output:975824 - inputerrors:0 - outputerrors:0 - rtt:0 - packetloss:0 - inpackets:6280 - outpackets:7707 - drops:0 - bandwidthin:12500000 - bandwidthout:12500000 (time P:0.03 | 8.18) 00:05:22 : H 9 : I 97 : P LPD : last_poll_date(): 1258607107 -> db(last_poll_date): 1 (time P:0.02 | 1.34) </pre> I do not see anything that obviously looks like an error, but it could just be that I am not 100% sure of what I am reading. Is there any place else I should be looking?
