Hi,

Sorry for sending email direct, but need.
JFFNMS use with syslog-ng is catching the event and also for the state
changes for snmp.

The error:

srv01:/opt/jffnms/engine# php -q consolidate.php
15:53:34 Consolidator Starting...
15:53:34 SYSLOG Events to Process: 15
15:53:34 S 12799:= 2010-05-26 15:47:31.885604 192.168.200.254 CRON[3617]:
pam_unix(cron:session): session closed for user jffnms
15:53:34 S 12799:= Matched ^([^[]+)(?:\[\d+\])?:\s+(.+)$
pg_ping(): Unknown database type.srv01

See the last line:
pg_ping(): Unknown database type.srv01

I removed the syslog (DNS hostname) and still hangs. Look: srv01 is the name
my hostname, but in the 4a line:
15:53:34 S 12799:= 2010-05-26 15:47:31.885604 192.168.200.254 CRON[3617]:
pam_unix(cron:session): session closed for user jffnms

the record was inserted correctly with the IP (192.168.200.254) and not
hostname (srv01).
What do I do wrong with syslog and JFFNMS?
The manual is too superficial about it.
Graciously

Marco Túlio
