Depending how keen you are you may want to wait a little while.

It does exist but it is no longer relevant.  JFFNMS 0.8.4 had the fixes
put in that this patch had so if you tried applying it it won't work.
0.8.5 also doesn't have this problem so you won't need it for that and
0.9.0 does that part of the authentication a different way.
