 I get a similar problem with using Mozilla based web servers
and trying to log into my son's school's website for his grades.

Other browsers (Chroium, Konqueror ....) are just fine. Below
is the error message for that site:

Redirection limit for this URL exceeded.  Unable to load the requested
page.


Note cookies et. al. are set up the same among the different browsers.
It's the website on the other end....[Microsoft non conformance ?]
