Are you certain that the scheduled tasks are runing? You also said the
config file is having problems so if you dont have a valid config file
then the engines won't work.

If the engines are not working you won't get RRD files either. 

Check you have a jffnms.conf file in the conf subdirectory.  Also, run
the poller off the command line to see if it brings up any errors.

I'm not sure about the html because you didnt say what you did to get
it.
