Unless I'm looking at the wrong field, the ifindexes of these interfaces are all pretty low--I just added a new interface and the ifindex of that one is 749. This is the same number that the IOS command "show snmp mib ifmib ifindex" returns for the new interface.
Been playing with the two suhosin max_vars settings mentioned earlier; I don't get working/consistent results until my port.max_var is up in the high thousands somewhere. In suhosin simulation mode, I'll get inconsistent results/log messages--sometimes it will log the 'post limit exceeded' error and the interface add will work, sometimes it will miss the error and the interface won't add. But raising up those magic suhosin variables nice and high does the trick, simulation mode or not. -jason On 01/15/2013 05:48 AM, Craig Small wrote: > On Tue, Jan 15, 2013 at 11:01:48AM +0100, Pierre wrote: >> Could you post the snmp ifindex of these interfaces not being addable >> ?
