Hi Craig, I see poller.php running and it is also in crontab, so I kill the process and running manually with the command: "php poller.php" but it never end... I cancel after 13 minutes... so I run with -q: "php -q poller.php" and also it never end, the only difference was at the beginning just shows this:
12:14:00 PAR: Childn Min/Max Idl/Bsy/Srt/Ded/Otr=Tot: 0/5 0/0/0/0/0=0 But a few minutes later start to shows all again: 12:14:00 ITEMS Added 0 items 12:14:00 PAR: Items Waiting/Polling=Total: 0/0 12:14:00 PAR: Childn Min/Max Idl/Bsy/Srt/Ded/Otr=Tot: 0/5 0/0/0/0/0=0 12:14:30 PAR: Items Waiting/Polling=Total: 0/0 12:14:30 PAR: Childn Min/Max Idl/Bsy/Srt/Ded/Otr=Tot: 0/5 0/0/0/0/0=0 12:15:00 PAR: Items Waiting/Polling=Total: 0/0 12:15:00 PAR: Childn Min/Max Idl/Bsy/Srt/Ded/Otr=Tot: 0/5 0/0/0/0/0=0 12:15:30 ITEMS Added 0 items 12:15:30 PAR: Items Waiting/Polling=Total: 0/0 12:15:30 PAR: Childn Min/Max Idl/Bsy/Srt/Ded/Otr=Tot: 0/5 0/0/0/0/0=0 12:16:00 PAR: Items Waiting/Polling=Total: 0/0 12:16:00 PAR: Childn Min/Max Idl/Bsy/Srt/Ded/Otr=Tot: 0/5 0/0/0/0/0=0 12:16:30 PAR: Items Waiting/Polling=Total: 0/0 12:16:30 PAR: Childn Min/Max Idl/Bsy/Srt/Ded/Otr=Tot: 0/5 0/0/0/0/0=0 12:17:00 LPD: Updated hosts (34,39,25,11,40,14,20,13,15,26,36,28,30,42,35,2,10,19,4,31,27,22,43,7,23,8,6,33,24,5,16,38,41,21,9,29,32,17,3,18,37) to LPD 1366305420 12:17:00 ITEMS Added 211 items 12:17:05 CH:0 (5516): START and idle. 12:17:05 CH:1 (5518): START and idle. 12:17:05 CH:2 (5529): START and idle. 12:17:05 CH:3 (5531): START and idle. 12:17:05 CH:4 (5533): START and idle. 12:17:05 PAR: Child 0 was idle, working on item 158 Try 1 12:17:05 PAR: Child 1 was idle, working on item 210 Try 1 12:17:05 PAR: Child 2 was idle, working on item 99 Try 1 12:17:05 PAR: Child 3 was idle, working on item 121 Try 1 12:17:05 PAR: Child 4 was idle, working on item 13 Try 1 12:17:05 PAR: Items Waiting/Polling=Total: 206/5 12:17:05 PAR: Childn Min/Max Idl/Bsy/Srt/Ded/Otr=Tot: 0/5 0/5/0/0/0=5 12:17:06 CH:0 (5516): : H 34 : I 158 : P 1 : reachability_start:ping(): 51702a91a0955 -> buffer(): 1 (time P: 5.2 | B: 0.02) 12:17:06 CH:1 (5518): : H 39 : I 210 : P 10 : verify_interface_number(): 2 -> verify_interface_number(): interfacenumber not changed (time P: 613.33 | B: 0.67) 12:17:06 CH:2 (5529): : H 25 : I 99 : P 10 : verify_interface_number(): 10 -> verify_interface_number(): interfacenumber not changed (time P: 537.96 | B: 0.78) 12:17:06 CH:4 (5533): : H 11 : I 13 : P 1 : reachability_start:ping(): 51702a91a18af -> buffer(): 1 (time P: 2.4 | B: 0.02) So I cancelled again... Could this be the problem? I have 42 hosts (all in Automagic) and 211 interfaces. Are you sure the poller is been run at all then? It should be in your crontab. Also try running it on the command line to see if it suddenly dies (sometimes no snmp or database modules will do that) - Craig -- Craig Small VK2XLZ http://enc.com.au/ csmall at : enc.com.au Debian GNU/Linux http://www.debian.org/ csmall at : debian.org GPG fingerprint: 5D2F B320 B825 D939 04D2 0519 3938 F96B DF50 FEA5 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Precog is a next-generation analytics platform capable of advanced analytics on semi-structured data.
