I don't get any errors from the raid controller. I called 3ware's technical support and they had no ideas or suggestions (other than gratuitously updating the controller's firmware.) Could this be caused by a drive overheating? Maybe it wrote errors while it was hot. And later when the controller checked the drive, it had cooled down and was working fine?
