I have discussed this with SUSEs product manager Andrea Jaeger quite a bit, and managed to convince him/them that at least they should support booting from JFS root filesystem. SUSE has no problem installing onto pre-formatted JFS filesystems, which is what I do. SUSEs reasoning is that the JFS is used enough to warrant support during installation. I too think it's a pity, especially given that SUSE has had JFS support for quite some time. Overall, it doesn't worry me an awful lot. I don't really need the support at installation-time. /Per Jessen, Zürich ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more?
