The directory size issue is a different matter. jfs on linux treats the directory size differently than os/2. For os/2-compatible file systems, jfs should deal with the directory size as os/2 does, but it's doing something wrong and os/2 chkdsk barfs on the directory because the size is wrong. This is a bug I promised to investigate, but I haven't gotten to it yet. Ingo, thanks for prodding me again.
