Unfortunately, not, as the 2.6.22 one was just the result of the efforts of some skilled http://buffalo.nas-central.org/ members who managed to port the buffallo-specific code from the 2.6.12 kernel which Buffalo had to release, and there was no other version based on that code ever since. The new implementation appeared only since version 2.6.25 (see http://git.kernel.org/?p=linux/kernel/git/nico/orion.git;a=summary ) after Marvell, which is the hardware platform manufacturer/designer of the board used in the Buffalo Linkstation Pro and other NAS-es, decided to support themselves the whole platform (called orion5x). Well, actually Lennert (Cc-ed here) could correct me and elaborate more on this... > Also, what's with the ATA errors at the end of your report: > > ata2: exception Emask 0x10 SAct 0x0 SErr 0x180000 action 0x6 frozen > ata2: edma_err_cause=02000020 pp_flags=00000003, SError=00180000 > ata2: SError: { 10B8B Dispar } > ata2: hard resetting link > > Have you ruled out any (S)ATA related issues yet? Well, not personally, but other Linkstaion Pro owners using the same 2.6.26 kernel, but not using JFS partitions (just ext3), don't have such issues.
