I'm running kernel 2.6.21.3 and jfs 1.1.10. When I boot my system, the root fs
is checked, but then it comes up in ro mode. After logging in, I've tried
running jfs_fsck manually several times, but it keeps giving me this error:

File system object DF34496 is linked as: /etc/blkid
Errors detected in Directory Index Table. Will Fix.
**Phase 5 - Check Connectivity
**Phase 6 - Perform Approved Corrections
**Phase 7 - Rebuild File/Directory Allocation Maps
**Phase 8 - Rebuild Disk Allocation Maps
**Phase 9 - Reformat File System Log

When it finishes, it tells me Filesystem is clean. But when I try to remount
it in rw mode, it fails, and says:
ERROR: (device dm-1): XT_GETPAGE: xtree page corrupt.

I also see the same xtree page corrupt error if I run ls /etc/blkid. Is there
a way to either fix this error or delete the /etc/blkid directory?

Tony
