I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with 1.1.2 jfs as installed
with redhat advanced server 3 and whether they consider it stable.

Jon,
I have JFS 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 serving four of my RH 7.1 servers  (2.4.18 
and 2.4.20 kernels).
There are Oracle 8 running on that boxes.
I'm sure that JFS now at stable, production level. IMHO, more stable 
than XFS 1.3 (but XFS are good too, it is serving 2 servers here).
EXT3 give me more bad feelings, and more slow at much tests.
