I can't install the aspell portuguese dictionary. When installing the debian package it cannot stat a file /usr/lib/aspell/portugu�s.alias
This is a FS problem since I had a previous version of the dictionary that I installed without problems. Doing a dmesg I get this jfs_strtoUCS: char2uni returned -22. charset = utf8, char = 0xea I have the iocharset=utf8 mount option set in fstab. Needless to say that the filenames in the directory are garbled. I'm using a 2.4.26 kernel. Is there a way around this?
