Hi Tom,
yes, File explorer is equivalent to Windows Explorer in Windows 7 and earlier. 
It mostly works the same way, with a few minor differences, and the menus and 
toolbar replaced by a ribbon.

Having not yet upgraded to Windows 10, I have a question:

I'm probably going to upgrade to Windows 10 sometime next Spring or Summer, 
once my work load settles down a bit.
