The college I'm attending is a Blackboard institution. I haven't had problems with it with JAWS 14, so you shouldn't with 15. You'll want to use either IE 11 or Firefox, though. Blackboard itself says you'll have issues with IE 9 or 10, and they recommend Firefox--though I've worked around 90% of their issues with IE 11.
_____ From: Kane Brolin [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: December-14-15 11:09 PM To: [email protected] Subject: JAWS With Blackboard Just today, I decided to embark on a series of professional development courses that rely on Blackboard as their platform. I've heard Blackboard has taken accessibility to a much higher standard in recent years. But does anyone have tips, tricks, or Tutorials for Blackboard for a JAWS user? On a related note, I still use Version 15. Is there an obvious advantage to upgrading to Ver. 17 before starting to work with Blackboard? Thanks. -Kane
