Barbara, Without being able to see your Outlook messages screen I can't be definitive, but based on you description of what's being read my gut is telling me that the messages may be being sorted by the size column, and that's what JAWS is focusing on. Outlook 2010 gives so many different view options it's really hard to even venture a guess absent a screen shot.
A screen shot can be taken by hitting ALT+PrtSc when the Outlook window is open, then opening a image program like MS-Paint, doing a paste, and saving it. However, that will show your e-mail list and I don't imagine you'd want to share that in public. I also am not seeing an "attach" option for forums posts. I will extend an offer to look at a screen shot sent to me via e-mail if you wish to go that route. This is a situation where seeing how things are laid out is probably going to be key to figuring out why JAWS isn't announcing the subject but is instead speaking the message size. I will assure complete privacy and destroy the image after corresponding with you should you wish to go off forum. Brian
