ok, in the past, I've been looking for the disc template for making
labels for CDs/DVDs. I was looking for a program, preferably free, to
make labels, but couldn't find any that were accessible with JAWS, and
kept finding that MS Word has templates, but where? I can't find any.
Anyone help, please?

I am unclear as to what you mean by "a flier template." In
every version of Office I've worked with (and I've worked with 2013,
though my machine has 2010) a wide variety of flier templates is
included and accessed via File->New and then getting yourself to the
"Flyers" templates under the Office.com templates section. There are 67
different templates that come up in Office 2010.
I can get there via the following keyboard shortcut sequence
(where a comma indicates you can let go of the prior key(s) of the
sequence):
ALT+F,N,YA
At that point you should probably be able to use the arrow keys to
cruise through the options presented.
