As a blind student, my main goal is to contribute to our community as much as I can throughout my study. Folks who live in the United States are the main recipients of this request. Cheers Ali The Information Systems Department at University of Maryland Baltimore county (UMBC) is running a study investigating the ways in which individuals who are visually impaired perform online searches. Your participation will be a key contribution to the success of the research project. The study will take at most one hour. Questions will involve your experiences when searching. These can be either conducted by videoconference (e.g. Skype) or in person at a location convenient to you. You will be asked to explore some web pages and perform some basic searches while sharing your thoughts on how you perform the task with the investigator. You will receive $15 as compensation for your time. All participants must be aged over 18, identify as visually impaired and use a screen reader.
