Mike, FS must know all about this, as the problems are as old as the feature
itself.

Hi Ted,

The only time I've ever had any luck with drag & drop is moving around items
pinned to the taskbar! But, it doesn't work very consistently, so I found
unpinning items, & repinning them in the order I want them to be in to be
faster than getting frustrated with trying to get drag & drop to work.
Take care.

Mike, the problem I've always had with that is that JAWS remains mum as long as
that button is locked, thereby making navigation more than difficult. I'm
fairly stubborn, but gave up on that feature back in the 1990's.

Hi Keith,

Below are the drag & drop keystrokes & steps, but speaking from personal
experience they're not very reliable.

Use the key strokes, (CTRL+INSERT+NUM PAD SLASH) for Drag and Drop .
This is used to drag items from one location and drop them in another.
Position the JAWS Cursor on the item you wish to move and press
CTRL+INSERT+NUM
PAD SLASH. You can leave the JAWS Cursor active, or you can switch to the PC
Cursor. JAWS will keep speaking as you navigate. Once you have positioned
the JAWS or PC Cursor in the location to which you would like to move the
item, press CTRL+INSERT+NUM PAD SLASH again, and the item will be moved to
the position of the active cursor.
Take care.

Subject: Drag and drop matching problem

Hi,

I'm doing some workplace training.

Most of the questions are radio buttons and links.

I've run into a Match the right column with the left column by drag and drop.

I'm stumped. Anyone have any ideas? I can get JAWS to announce the items in
each column, but haven't figured out a way to select one and place on another.

I suspect this is not attainable, but before I throw in the towel, I thought
I'd check here.

Thanks in advance, Keith
