You're looking for the insert+alt+s command to bring up the various schemes that Jaws can use. I often use these to proof read documents. You can choose from any of the preconfigured schemes in the list or create your own.

Hi, I am using Windows 7 with JAWS 14. I would like to know how to set JAWS to announce the formatting that I have done to a document. For example, I would like it to let me know when words are bolded, underlined, and italic. I would like JAWS to tell me something like “bloded” instead of doing a sound effect like text analyzer does when I set that. Help would be greatly appreciated.
