I saw a number of posts on this list about JAWS and Open Docs. It sounded like JAWS might actually, sort of, work with Open Docs, and that is a good thing if it is really true.
What surprised me with the release notes for the latest and greatest in JAWS 15 were the following notes: . Resolved a reported issue with Google Docs where live region updates were not being announced . Resolved a reported issue with Open Office 4.1. The above is reported as if Google Docs were accessible with JAWS. If that is now true, then I'll stop breaking my brain over trying to learn ChromeVox which, to my way of thinking, is an utter joke. I have had no need for Open Docs for at least 6 years. I weekly have someone who puts documents on Google Docs so "everyone" can collaboratively access them. Sent from my Yoga IdeaPad I.
