I recently did a repair on JAWS, and it had bugs that could only be fixed by a 
complete uninstall and reinstall of JAWS.  If you are having JAWS problems, I 
recommend the above.  I also recommend choosing the option of deleting the user 
settings and also deleting the JFW common files.  I believe you will like the 
results.

It should be a nondestructive procedure, but, to some extent, that depends on 
you.  Find the executable file for the JAWS version in question, and start 
setup. It will ask you what you want to do, and repair is one of the options.  
It will also ask you if you want to keep any custom settings you have made, and 
that's why I said whether or not the procedure is destructive depends on you.
