Hi Chris, and thank you for the off list communication. Don't worry, I'm not
about to have a hissy fit and toss my toys out of the pram, honest!
I appoligise if you thought I was being disrespectful and sarcastic to Joe,
who I'll also contact off list to make my apologies, but that was certainly
not my intent. As I stated, I thought the directions given by Dave were
clear, and did in fact address Joe's concerns. I had meant to indicate that
if Joe just followed those directions then he should be fine. Obviously
George and you didn't see it like this.
As for George, well I've had zero contact with him on any list over any
issue, so there's no personal animosity on my part, just wanted to make that
clear as well. You would also find it very difficult to find occasions when
I'm as rude or off-hand as George regularly is!
That's it, said my part and that's where I'll leave it.

Rest assured that this is going to you privately off list. I'm not the
type to publicly imbarrass people.
Normally, I think George can be a bit of a loud mouth at times. In this
case however, I totally side with him. In my humble opinion, should it be
worth anything, your message didn't contribute to the matter at all. If
you got a problem with George, take it up off list, as frankly, a lot of
us members really don't give two cents, frankly, about your personal
disagreements with a list member. We're here to discuss jfw, not drama.
